INGREDIENTS;Super fine small grain rice:100 gm.onion two medium sized sliced lengthwise,cumin ,a teaspoonful,salt;3gms,clarified butter(ghee)10ml. and water 150ml.
Method:wsh rice,in a vessel take all the ingredients and cook for about 8 mnts.let it cool.
eat with raitha or toato sauce.
(have second thoughts about cooking it all together,no worry.just do it and eat,you will never regret having tried,only,you must select super fine small grain rice)

hi,
eight mnts cooking is certainly enough,I was assuming you use pressure cooker,once steam starts escaping and you use weight like you use in cooking rice (if you cook rice at all)

He spoke very highly about this particular concoction you have there brewing. He never did attempt to show me even once by preparing this meagre gruel!
You mean you never toast the cumin seeds before adding all the other ingredients? I am having second thoughts already and I am not even a bachelor.
Sounds like the food my dear husband used to prepare when he was a bachelor and that too in America.
That tells a lot about it purported grand taste!
