I am sure you read newspapers everyday. Nobody is dumb not to notice these all the time.Nobody seems to bother though! Prime Minister calls upon the scientists to this and that blah....blah... blah.

Arey, who are you to call upon the scientists, as if all these years they didn't know what they were doing! If you leave them alone they will do much better. All they ask of you is for you to stay away! Which politician excepting people like Abdul Kalam has the authority to tell people what to do?

We have such stupid politicians and equally foolish voters, yours truly included, that a politician declares' if the allegations are proven I will retire from public life' .Come on if allegations are proven nowhere in the world there is a law that asks the convicts to retire. The court sends such people to jail! And we listen or read as the case may be and don't raise a finger.

And then there are people asking us to vote for the best candidate, pray, where are they, if at all they are there! When there are none who deserve your vote what else you can do apart from abstaining!

Once a politician who was a former minister advised me to enter politics. His point was well presented. He really meant it when he said that unless well-meaning people entered politics the stalemate will continue. That the quality will not improve. True! But I have only one life; I am not a cat with nine so that I can use one for reformation of politics even if that was possible. Forget entering politics we don't vote for the same reason! (At least some of you will agree)

Then there are people who wait for bigshots. You invite a minister or any other celebrity for an event. He turns up two hours late and you dutifully wait. When he arrives we are ready with garlands and all. He will never turn up in time in future! Why bother when it is all the same whether you are prompt or not! The same with VVIP visits, there is captive audience (whatever that means) the school children. Doesn’t matter if couple of them faint waiting in the sun. After all it is the Prime Minister or some Non prime minister. There must be a crowd to receive him.OK with us. We don't bother. One or two columns may appear in the next day's local newspaper.

Fine with us!
